Do my images leave my home?
No. Detection, recognition and history are processed on the machine where Noviscan is installed. External notifications are optional and configured by you.
Do I need a GPU?
No. Noviscan runs on CPU and can use an NVIDIA GPU to speed up analysis of many streams or videos.
Do I have to replace my cameras?
In most cases, no. IP cameras with RTSP and several common sources are supported, as well as local, FTP and SFTP file drops.
How is data protected?
Noviscan offers local AES-256-GCM encryption, encrypted backups, multiple user roles, two-factor authentication and a configurable retention policy.
How does the mobile app work?
The app connects directly to your instance after QR-code pairing — with no intermediate cloud account. The link is end-to-end encrypted. It is reserved for Premium licences.
